  • Power Cycle (30 seconds) Option: Allows you to temporarily turn off the outlet for 30 seconds if the device is on, then automatically power it back on—great for quick resets without manual intervention.
  • Rules Feature (Beta): Introduces support for up to 10 customizable rules to control the outlet based on time. This feature is currently in beta stage, offering advanced automation capabilities.

This update aligns with the latest recommendations from U-Blox, the manufacturer of the R510 cellular modem used with the Cellular Smart Outlet, and is essential to ensure optimal device performance and stability.

Details: The firmware implements the Emergency Handling System (EHS) procedure from U-Blox. This feature addresses a rare but significant issue where devices using the R510 modem might encounter improper resets, leaving them unresponsive to the Microcontroller Unit (MCU). Previously, this required a manual power reset to recover functionality.
With the EHS update, your device can now automatically detect and recover from this issue, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity and reducing downtime.
